7 Days of Loving Your Wife Well

Day 1: Listen Without Fixing
Day 2: Serve Her Practically
Challenge: Give your wife your full attention for at least 20 minutes.
Do this: Tell her to come sit right next to you and say this "I want to hear about your day. Tell me what today was like for you, I’m listening.”
Why it matters: Feeling heard builds emotional safety.
James 1:19 “Be swift to hear, slow to speak.”
Day 3: Speak Life Over Her
Challenge: Do one thing today that makes her load lighter without being asked.
Do this:
Clean something she usually handles
Help with the kids
Take over a task she dislikes
Why it matters: Love is shown through action, share the household burden with her.
Galatians 6:2 “Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Challenge: Plan intentional connection time, even if it’s simple.
Do this:
Take her for a walk
Fix her breakfast
Take her on a date
Why it matters: Planning time together shows leadership through love, care, and thoughtfulness.
Song of Solomon 2:16 “My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.”
Day 5: Give her an Unexpected Gift
Challenge: Give her a small, thoughtful gift, not for any occasion.
Do this:
Compliment her character, not just her appearance
Thank her for something specific
Why it matters: She remembers thoughtful gestures longer than words or promises alone.
Proverbs 16:24 “Luke 6:38 – “Give, and it will be given to you.”"
Day 4: Pursue Her Emotionally
Challenge: Give at least 3 sincere affirmations today.
Do this:
Compliment her character, not just her appearance
Thank her for something specific
Why it matters: Words nourish her heart and build emotional connection.
Proverbs 31:28 “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
Day 7: Speak Your Commitment
Day 6: Physical Touch & Affection
Challenge: Hold her hand, hug, and cuddle intentionally.
Do this:
Ask her to come cuddle with you.
Rub her feet
Massage her back
Give her kisses
Song of Solomon 1:2 “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.”
Challenge: Tell her what kind of husband you are committing to be from this point forward.
Do this: Speak with sincerity and humility, emphasizing love, respect, and partnership.
Why it matters: Public verbal commitments strengthen trust and emotional security.
Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”
